When we reflect on our beginnings, we always think of the oldest barrel in our family treasury and the brandy it held. To avoid assumptions, we sent samples of our oldest brandies to the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre (SUERC)<\/strong> in Scotland. Through radiocarbon dating, their age was confirmed. These brandies are our EMPERUS Relics<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

EMPERUS RELIC I<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tThe oldest distillate in our family treasury was crafted by Vasilije's father, \n Dragomir\"image\"<\/span><\/a>, in the mid-20th\ncentury. Without an exact production date, we sent a sample to the SUERC laboratory, which \n certified\"image\"<\/span><\/a>\u00a0 it was produced between 1935 and 1960. It\u2019s believed this plum brandy is a blend of several\ndistillates, made shortly before and after World War II. Our treasury holds just 21 bottles.<\/span><\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tIn 1957, \nDeda Vasilije\"image\"<\/span><\/a> harvested fruits from his new orchards, filled with native plum\nvarieties, to craft a brandy we now proudly hold with a \nSUERC radiocarbon certification.\"image\"<\/span><\/a> We carefully\npreserve 37 bottles of this cherished legacy.<\/span><\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In addition to the two EMPERUS Relics<\/strong>, we hold other precious distillates from the latter half of the 20th century. With great care, we have removed these distillates from their original barrels, filtered and bottled them, preserving them for generations to come. Our archive includes distillates from 1960 (42 bottles), 1966 (36 bottles), 1968 (32 bottles), 1972 (51 bottles), 1973 (26 bottles), 1977 (30 bottles), 1978 (32 bottles), 1982 (48 bottles), and 1985 (24 bottles).<\/p>

All our archive brandies are safeguarded within the EMPERUS Treasury<\/strong><\/span>, alongside the brandies and barrels of the EMPERUS Keepers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tWe have opened our family treasury and are now ready to share its finest selection with you. EMPERUS RESERVA ANTICA<\/strong><\/a> holds the title of Serbia\u2019s highest-rated brandy of all time,\ncrowned as the Best Serbian Plum Brandy of 2023.

\nA sample of this brandy was also sent to the SUERC laboratory, \nconfirming\"image\"<\/span><\/a> it was produced\nin 1992 and 1993. There are a total of 954 bottles, each individually numbered and marked\nwith its unique identifier.<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
